WHO CAN HELP

We have volunteer opportunities in schools, hospitals and orphanages in the Eastern and Greater Accra Region. In the Eastern region we have 10 schools with volunteer opportunities and one major hospital. The hospital serves a population of approximately 201,333 in 110 communities. It has a bed capacity of 103 physicians and supporting staff. The hospital has been recently renovated by the World Bank and most of its equipments are in pretty good shape. Volunteers are needed in the areas of Dentistry, Gynecology, Surgery, Orthopedic, Internal Medicine, General Practice, Nursing, other Medical Professions and in Teaching

We also have partners in the Greater Accra area where we have positions available in the government hospitals and clinics for nurses and physicians. Those interested in teaching can teach in any of our partner schools. Volunteers can also be placed with our organization to do AIDS outreach programs and community library projects

We are in need of Physicians, Nurses, Teachers, Colleges students and other medical personnel. Our organization can also arrange for medical, nursing and other students to receive credit for their volunteer experience.
