Since
the year of its inception(1996), Vital International Foundation has provided
a broad range of services to the people of Ghana for little or no cost,
this includes confidential HIV testing and counseling; support groups
for PLWA's, counselor training, staffing an HIV hotline, and providing
HIV/AIDS/STD's education for thousands of Ghanaians through local television,

The
first voluntary counseling and testing program in the country was launched
in 2000 by Vital International Foundation. The overall objectives are
to help control the rise of HIV infection among women and young people
by providing free and confidential HIV counseling and testing in a non
